Hotel Das Himberg

I stayed at Das Himberg for three nights while waiting for the train connection I needed to open back up after the horrible storms that were rocking central Europe days before. While it was not cheap, it totally made up with being comfortable and having a fantastic 5/5 stars breakfast that was included with the nightly fee. The location is fine if you have business in Himberg, and the connection to Vienna Hbf is quite convenient with an 8 minute walk to the Himberg local railway and a short train ride to the city center. If come back to visit Vienna as a tourist, I may choose Das Himberg again.

Very good hotel in a small town. The rooms are modern, everything is new, there is a kitchen with a stove, coffee machine and refrigerator. Very comfortable mattresses. In the bathroom all accessories are from Rituals, there is even hand cream. The breakfast is very tasty, with a large assortment, tea, cocoa and coffee Julius Meinl. Entry by cards. If you return late, the doors to the hotel itself can also be opened using a card from your room. Parking in the hotel yard is free.

Really great and friendly staff, the room was very nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptional. Also free parking was provided. This will be my new go-to hotel for a stay before or after a flight at the Vienna airport! Loved the stay!

After 10 days of travel through 5 different cities, this was the best night stay of the whole trip. The front desk staff when out of her way to make arrangements for us to get a taxi to the airport and to start breakfast a bit earlier for us before we had to leave. I am so thankful that she did this because the breakfast was incredible!

We liked our room - the bed was very comfortable. They provided us with a crib and baby sheets- my daughter loved those. The breakfast was delicious as well as my drink at the bar. The staff was very kind and polite.
